Joan and Andre, We would like to say to you how much we enjoyed your house, we had many a day on the road when we refered it was like home. Just a very Special Place. We will be returning. Thank you so much for a great getaway.

We have had the best time! This is the perfect place for small kids. The tire swing and the creek were the kids favorites. We loved grilling by the pool, which we did twice a day all week. The potatoes and tomatoes from your garden were delicious! We had everything we needed. We loved the waterfall hike near the farm. Our 4 year old was able to do it. We enjoyed WNC Nature Center and the Fun Depot was perfect for the kids (minature gold, bowling, rock climbing, bumper cars playgrounds and much more). I loved listening to the stream and laying in the hammock. We made smores by the fire and caught fireflies. So pretty and relaxing. Thank you so much!

Nine days at Sunflower Farm was not enough. The charm of this place will hold a place in our hearts. We always loved this mountainous region of our country and now we have another reason. Joan and Andre have created a wonderful haven from our hectic world. We are truly blessed to have been able to enjoy their homestead. From their friendly felines to the beautiful gardens and of course their pleasant personalities our stay could not have been better. Thank you for all you do and who you are. (P.S. Joan and Andre, Like so many before us, we truly enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Farm. Fishing in the stream, swimming in the pool, smores at the firepit, the tire swing, the cats, the gardens and your wonderful hospitality are just a few of the highlights of our stay. June 27, 2009 Just arrived and already so peaceful and relaxed in this little slice of paradise. Woke up to a beautiful day on our first morning, kids asleep upstairs and went out to the front porch for coffee. As we watched a hummingbird fly after a cardinal, my husband thought of this haiku.
